Marbella is located in southern Spain, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, on the Costa del Sol ("Coast of the Sun"). The city stretches along the coast for approximately 28 km, and the prestigious port of Puerto Banús is located nearby, 4 km from the center.
The city has a long history: there was a Roman settlement here in antiquity, and the Moors built fortifications in the Middle Ages. In 1485, Marbella came under the control of the Kingdom of Castile. It gained its status as a popular resort in the second half of the 20th century.

It was very interesting to see the sculptures by Salvador Dalí.
